Am I still considered a blogger....

if I only blog twice a year? My goodness I just can't keep up. Having a 2 & 4 yr old that both have Type A personalitys really keeps me on my toes 24.7! Was never quite prepared for the sibling rivalry, but hopefully this is just a season. At least they get along 10% of the time and they are super cute:) Positive thoughts are the way to go!

The last couple of months have been quite busy. With a baby shower, visits from my mom, days in the mountains and new babys being born we have much to be thankful for. God is good!

Enjoy the pix!

XOXO

Wow! I am a slacker!

Sheesh! It's been forever and a day since I blogged!!! Life has been crazy since Halloween. With birthdays, traveling, visitors and being sick the days have just flown by! And I have gone back to work (from home) so my time is even more limited....so here is a quick snapshot of our past two months...Enjoy!

First of all our little girl turned 2 on November 9th. Unbelievable! If feels like yesterday that Lauren was in my belly kickin' away. I had a little party and she enjoyed most of it:) The terrible two's have definitely kicked in, but we still love her more than anything and think she's super adorable no matter what:)

Next we were off to the East Coast for almost two weeks and had a blast (most of the time:)! But holy moly was it a lot of work with a 2 & 3 year old. I really wouldn't even go as far to say that it was a "vacation". We flew into Boston, drove to NYC the next day, spent the weekend, drove to Maine for a week and then headed to Boston to fly back home. I know! We're NUTS! But it was ALL worth it...Spending time with friends and family was a blessing.

Then my brother came out for a few days after we returned home. Brandon just got back from being in Japan for 3 years (he is in the Navy). Now he is based in San Diego and we are thrilled. It was wonderful seeing him and what a mature wonderful man my little brother has become...

In between all of this we of course had some fun snow days here and there....

Now we are now anxiously waiting for my mom and Greg to get here. They will be in town for a week. Can't wait!

Sometimes, during the busiest times of our lives, it's hard to just stop and thank God for all the wonderful things He has gifted us with. There really is so much to be thankful for! I pray you have a blessed Christmas and a joyful New Year!

Happy Halloween!

Hope you all had a frightful, but fun Halloween! Noah was Spider Man (I know, so original) and Lauren was both a Lion and Minnie Mouse. We (I) couldn't decide which was cuter, so we went with both;) Michael and I were babies, but I do have to say Michael whines A LOT more than I do! Noah had a Halloween party at preschool and they were in a parade. It was the cutest darn thing I'd ever seen! Later in the evening we went trick or treating around our neighborhood and because of the warm weather no jackets were needed! After gathering all of the candy we could handle we went to my cousin Lu's for a party. We had a blast! Couldn't find a sitter, so it was an early night for the Donegans, but all in all we had fun!

September Fun!

I will do my best to sum up September while keeping it short and sweet:)

The month started off with a super fun trip to the berry patch. It is located in Brighton. Noah doesn't even like berries but picked away as if he did. Lauren on the other hand didn't enjoy it as much but still had fun:)

Then we spent a day out in Morrison at my cousins house which is nestled in the beautiful Rocky mountains. From now on I think we'll just go camping on her property! That way if it's too cold we have a warm bed 5 ft away:) And the kids had a blast. Lauren fell in love with their new kitties and Noah wanted to drive around with his cousin all day long!

My sister came out from So Cal last week and we had a blast!!! I almost held her hostage here, but then I thought it would be best to let her go. Maybe someday she will miss us soooo much and move to Colorado:)

Sadly, we said goodbye to my sis but then welcomed my mom! We always have so much fun shopping, watching "what not to wear", getting new hair do's, and playing with the kids. It's always tough seeing her leave, but we make sure there is a trip already in the works.

Well that's about it...for now. I am looking forward to October. The leaves are changing here in Colorado and it has been beautiful!

Enjoy your day!
